Character
Part of Vessey's mission is to ensure that cadets develop the values,
knowledge and confidence necessary to make positive life choices. This character development serves as the foundation supporting students' four star educational experience. Every day, students will be involved in a student led formation, JROTC and personal development providing direction for life after Vessey.
In addition to JROTC, Vessey is proud to be able to offer students a myriad of character building activities including the JLAB national leadership competition, Color Guard, sports activities including basketball and football teams, prom and other social events that further strengthen the family-like atmosphere of Vessey Academy.
